Gold Level Recognition!
Of the three levels of recognition for a K-5 Champion School, SES received the highest level (Gold) recognition! Middle school is also a Champion School. This is an ongoing curriculum incorporated into the Science program. St. Elizabeth Seton continues to be dedicated to integrating Everglades literacy.
An Everglades Champion School encourages teachers to participate in Everglades Literacy professional development, integrates Everglades Literacy into the curriculum, promotes Everglades interdisciplinary projects and field experiences, as well as Everglades community and culture.It is a call-to-action, designed to incentivize and empower schools to find their Everglades potential by focusing on curriculum, projects, and practices that become a part of their school culture.
