strengthening our relationship with God

Middle School Religion

SES nurtures the development of each student to achieve their spiritual, intellectual, physical and social potential. Catholic values matter!

Middle school students learn about God and their Catholic Faith through a developmental program based on Scripture and rooted in the teaching of the Catholic Faith.

Middle school students learn about God and their Catholic Faith through a developmental program based on Scripture and rooted in the teaching of the Catholic Faith. Students participate in group learning, presentations, prayers, devotions and retreats.

The middle school students learn about strengthening their relationship with God through His love for them. Students learn that God reveals Himself through reading scripture, participation in Mass, prayer, the sacraments, and service, and that God created humans in his own image, which is the ultimate creation of goodness and love. Students understand that God always offers us forgiveness through the sacrament of Reconciliation. He offers faith to us as a gift that we must accept for our eternal salvation.

Students participate in mass each week and on Holy Days of Obligation.

Obligation. They attend mass with their younger buddies in Kindergarten. Students receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation during Advent and Lent.

Students participate in several service projects during the year. They learn the value of self-less service and are required to complete ten or more service hours every school year through a variety of service projects, altar serving, choir, National Junior Honor Society, and student council.

Students in all grades participate in a monthly virtue program to develop their character. Students are encouraged to earn certificates for showing exemplary faith in the featured virtue of the month and are recognized monthly at our Christian Character Awards at mass.

Our students understand the value of wisdom, service and forgiveness.
