MIDDLE SCHOOL SPIRITUAL RETREAT FUNDRAISER
Please see the message below from Mr. Ganse regarding the spring spiritual retreat for middle school students. Please support this wonderful effort!

Dear Seton Families,

Mystic Monk Coffee is back, and we are once again fundraising for our Spring middle school retreat which will allow students to have an awesome opportunity to grow in their faith and love for Christ and His Church. I have coordinated through the diocese to have the National Evangelization Teams (NET Teams) come to Seton and lead this spiritual retreat. Last year we had the NET Team here at Seton and the middle schoolers loved them! Here is some general information about NET:

NET Ministries challenges young Catholics to love Christ and embrace the life of the Church. Every August, 175 young Catholics aged 18-28 leave behind their jobs, school, family, and friends to devote nine months to serving with the National Evangelization Teams (NET).

Divided into 16 teams, they travel across the U.S. for nine months to share the Gospel with young people and their families. Since 1981, NET teams have led over 32,000 retreats and ministered to more than 1.9 million young Catholics. NET Ministries fulfills its mission by:

  • Proclaiming the Gospel of Christ through a personal witness of faith
  • Inviting young people to live for Christ
  • Forming young people in Christian character through the study and practice of their faith
  • Equipping youth workers and young adults with the ministry skills needed for evangelization

In efforts to prepare for this exciting event, the middle classes once again be conducting several fund raising appeals through Mystic Monk Coffee (which are Carmelite monks in Wyoming).
Over the next few weeks, you can make your orders from the attached catalog and order form. All orders can be brought to the school office (entitled Coffee Fundraiser), your classroom teacher, or to Mr. Ganse. Checks should only be made out to St. Elizabeth Seton. Monday, September 10th is the deadline for this first coffee fundraising campaign. If you have any questions you can email Mr. Ganse at ganse@seseton.org We will hold a second coffee order campaign in the Fall. Thank you for your love and support of the middle school students.

Blessings,
Mr. Ganse
