Veterans Day Appreciation!

On November 13, St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic School gathered to honor veterans at our annual Veterans Mass & Tribute. This year’s theme was Peace, Freedom, and Faith. Each student processed to church carrying handmade patriotic artwork with special messages/symbols of peace and love for our veterans. Father Casey delivered a powerful and inspirational homily reflecting on the sacrifices of our veterans and the true cost of freedom.

We are so proud of our 8th-grade students who led the tribute with a Color Guard presentation, Flag Folding Ceremony, and presentation of gifts to the 38 veterans in attendance. All veterans were welcomed back to school for a reception afterwards. Many thanks to HASA parent volunteers who arranged a wonderful reception.

Our annual ceremony is filled with gratitude and reverence for those who have served and continue to serve our country. Special thanks to VFW Golden Gate Post 7721 for training our students in proper flag etiquette and flag folding. God bless our veterans and God bless America!
