The Starting Point for a Great Life

Grades 1-8

Students receive a superior education in religion, language arts, mathematics, science and social studies.

“We exceed both state and national performance norms…”

Students receive a superior education in religion, language arts, mathematics, science and social studies.  A full related arts program of music, art, physical education and health also is offered. Additionally, students enjoy a full time Spanish program. All instruction is aimed at providing valuable learning experiences which enable students to develop life-long skills that prepare them for high school and beyond.

The Diocese of Venice provides academic standards for English language arts, mathematics and religion, which drive curriculum and teaching in each classroom. They are the foundation of learning and the basis of every lesson plan.

The standards ensure that students learn skills and gain exposure to topics appropriate to their age level. The standards also ensure that subjects are learned sequentially to eliminate learning gaps.

The Diocese of Venice academic standards and learning benchmarks have been designed to exceed both state and national performance norms. All resources and curriculum materials used in our classrooms are aligned with the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools. More information about diocesan educational standards and benchmarks may be found on the Diocese of Venice website (www.dioceseofvenice.org)
