Virtue of the Month: Honesty

Thank you to students, parents, teachers and staff for working so hard to make our first week of Distance Learning a great success! It is amazing to see how well we are adjusting with positive attitudes and a sense of cooperation and community spirit. We miss seeing our students and families in person and look forward to being together soon. If you are experiencing difficulties during this challenging time at home, please reach out to Dr. Dianne Fabii, School Counselor (fabii@seseton.org). May God bless you all, and keep you healthy and safe in His care. Peace over panic, faith over fear…#SetonStrong!

We will be hosting a “Virtual Open House” on Tuesday, April 21 for new prospective families. Please help us spread the word by telling your friends about the Open House and all our school has to offer. More information will be posted on our website and Facebook. Please continue to send short videos of your student(s) saying what they love about their school, teachers, etc. (no more than 15-20 seconds) to be included in our “virtual tour”; send to Mrs. Groch at groch@seseton.org. Thank you for your support!

  • As a reminder, classes on campus are suspended through May 1, 2020. Distance learning will continue through that date. The school office will re-open on May 4.
  • Father/Daughter Dance is postponed – future date to be announced
  • Donuts with Dad is postponed – future date to be announced
  • Night in Havana Gala/Auction Event rescheduled to Saturday, September 26 at Vineyards Country Club.
  • SALCAA Event at Artis-Naples on April 3 postponed – to be rescheduled to a future fall date.
  • All afterschool activities and athletic events are canceled until school is back in session.

FACTS Grant and Aid Application

Important update regarding your FACTS Grant and Aid application: The deadline for a completed/verified application is May 31, 2020. A completed application is required as part of student re-enrollment for the upcoming school year and is necessary to be considered for any tuition assistance available, including parish assistance. Due to the 2019 tax return filing deadline being extended into July, required supporting documents to complete the 2020-2021 FACTS application have changed. Families can submit 2019 W2s and 2018 income tax returns. This change will not affect those who have already completed their application. Thank you for your cooperation and support.

Night in Havana Gala Auction News!

We are happy to announce that the Night in Havana Gala Auction has been rescheduled to Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020 at the Vineyards Country Club! We will look forward to celebrating this fabulous event with our school community and friends at that time.

Please contact our Gala chair, Dr. Dianne Fabii, at fabii@seseton.org with any questions.

Step Up for Students Scholarship (SUFS)

Due to current health concerns, Step Up for Students will provide electronic payments on behalf of families receiving this scholarship. Please log into your Step Up For Students account to make sure your contact information is up to date. SUFS will be communicating this new process by email and text. Please watch your emails for future correspondence to approve the SUFS payment for your student(s). You will not need to come into school to endorse the checks. Thank you!

New families may now apply through Step Up For Students for an Income-Based Scholarship (either the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship or the Family Empowerment Scholarship) for the 2020-21 school year. https://www.stepupforstudents.org/for-parents/income-based/how-the-scholarship-works/

Please note: If a family currently has the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship for the 2019-20 school year, the priority processing deadline for renewal families has passed meaning all income-based applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis in the order all documents are received, regardless of family scholarship status. Please apply asap as funding is limited.

Upon review of a family’s application and supporting documents, SUFS will determine if the student qualifies for either the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship or the Family Empowerment Scholarship. Reminder: If a family has a returning student on the income-based Family Empowerment Scholarship, please click here for more information.
