Operation Rice Bowl

Dear Seton Elizabeth Seton Families,

As you know, we are in the great liturgical season of Lent. It is meant for us to take time to reflect upon our lives and to make necessary changes to prepare us for the awesomeness of Holy Easter. Part of that preparation is our annual Rice Bowl campaign through Catholic Relief Services. Your child has already received a Rice Bowl and is slowly contributing to this great cause of meeting the needs of others in many places throughout the world. Our Rice Bowl campaign will be ending on Wednesday, April 1. Please count all the money that your family has collected and write one check out to St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic School. The school will count all the check amounts and then write one check to Catholic Relief Services on behalf of our whole school community. Thank you in advance for your generosity and participation in the Spirit of the Lord!

In Christ,
Mr. Andrew Ganse
Middle School Religion & Advanced Math Teacher

Re-enrollment for 2020-2021 School year

Thank you to current families who have submitted re-registration materials for the 2020-2021 school year and have taken advantage of the early bird discount. If you haven’t yet re-registered, please do so as soon as possible to help us plan for a great school year ahead. “Early Bird” discount ended 2/21.

Step Up for Students Scholarship

We have been informed that SUFS has issued Student Award letters without school ID numbers on them. This number is needed by the school in order to enroll students in the scholarship program. If your family has already received and brought a letter in, you will need to bring an updated letter once the ID number has been assigned. Thank you for your understanding. Please contact Ms. Pearce if you have any questions.

Applications for renewal families are open. SUFS Renewal families had priority processing until February 29, 2020. Families interested in applying for SUFS for the first time are encouraged to sign up for the interest list on the Step Up website. https://www.stepupforstudents.org/for-parents/parent-login/

Florida Empowerment Scholarship

The school will re-enroll students automatically for 2020-2021 AFTER receiving the 2020-2021 registration form and fee. Please notify Ms. Pearce, school accountant, if you are not planning to continue using the FES. If a family has a current student on the FES and would like to add a sibling who would qualify, they should not complete a SUFS online application, instead a form will be emailed to eligible families by SUFS the first week of February.
