Friday, December 13 at 6:30pm – Christmas Concert

The time has come for the annual Christmas Concert, and we are so excited! Each student is playing a special role in this year’s performance. All preschool and elementary General Music classes will be singing songs we have learned in class, Fifth Grade and Middle School bands will be playing their instruments, Drama will be performing the Nativity scene, and Life Skills will be our hosts for the evening. Middle School volunteers will be acting as speakers, stage crew, and assistants to our production. This is a whole school event!

Concert dress will be our Sunday Best! This means students do not need to be in uniform, but must dress appropriately. Holiday and festive wear is preferred! Please follow these guidelines: females please no spaghetti straps or heels, males must wear dress slacks and a tie. Please consult Mrs. Pond (watson@seseton.org) and the school handbook for further guidelines. Reader’s Theater and Drama students will wear their costume for the Nativity Scene.

No cell phones allowed at the Concert! Students should leave their personal devices with their parents/family/other guests before going to sit with their class.

If there is an issue with attendance or your middle school student wishes to volunteer, please contact Mrs. Pond (watson@seseton.org), your homeroom teacher, and Mrs. Niebuhr immediately.

Students and staff have been working extremely hard and we cannot wait to share our work with you!

Save the Date! – Saturday, March 28, 2020 SES Gala Auction, Havana Nights at The Vineyards Country Club Naples

Gala Auction – We Need You!

We are gearing up in a big way now for our gala auction on March 28, 2020, A NIGHT IN HAVANA at The Vineyards Country Club. We want to make this our best gala yet, and we are ready to form committees for the following tasks:

Phone Squad: The essential task of making follow up calls to business who have been sent letters requesting donations or sponsorships must be done before the end of this term. These are NOT cold calls, but simply follow up calls to ask if the company will participate. A basic script will be provided, as well as a list of businesses to contact. You can sign up through the Sign-Up-Genius link below. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/508054BABAC29A0F58-seton3

Pick-Up Squad: You will pick up donations from businesses in a timely manner and deliver them to campus.

Pack-Up Squad: You will assist with wrapping wine and spirit bottles for the Wine Pull table, and also assist with transporting baskets, decorations, table center pieces and bottles to the venue on the day of the gala.

Pretty Squad: You will assist with gathering items for decorations, and then transporting, setting up and taking down decorations on the day of the gala.

Please send an email to Dianne Fabii (fabii@seseton.org) with your name and phone number to sign up for the Pick-Up, Pack-Up and/or Pretty Squads.

There will be a brief meeting on Wednesday, December 4th in the cafeteria after morning prayers to discuss the tasks and answer questions. If you cannot attend the meeting, please sign-up anyway, and you will be contacted by phone.

YOU WILL EARN VOLUNTEER HOURS FOR HELPING WITH THE GALA!

Please join us to help make our gala a super success!

Giving Back…

Ms. Boreham of Collier Honor Flight visited our campus to receive a check for $573 from proceeds collected on red, white, blue dress day. Students also presented Commander Burch and Commander Holmes of VFW Post 7721 with a check for $100 in appreciation for training students in proper American flag folding and etiquette. We thank Seton parents for their generosity and partnering with us to enhance the learning experiences of our students.
