Dear Seton Families,
Our campus has been buzzing with activity – students engaging in many projects, fundraisers galore, numerous upcoming events, and most importantly, a special effort to help another hurricane ravaged school – St. John the Evangelist School in Panama City. As we gratefully acknowledge our return to near normalcy while portable classrooms gradually are removed from campus, we send our support and prayers to those students and staff in need not so far away. There is a LOT of news this week – please read through the entire E-Blast and keep up to date!

VIRTUE OF THE MONTH
During this month of thanks and giving, Seton students are focusing on the virtue of generosity. Certainly our Seton family has demonstrated generosity in their support of the recent drive to help CPCI, and now they are stepping up to help St. John the Evangelist School in Panama City. As the prayer of St. Francis reminds us, it is in giving that we receive. Let’s continue this wonderful spirit of generosity, even in small ways, like offering a smile to a friend, or lending a helping hand at home.

BLUE ZONE TIP OF THE WEEK
Get your day going in a positive direction each day with prayer and exercise!
COUNSELOR’S CORNER
How much stress is too much? This is a question that nearly everyone grapples with, and it’s important to recognize when stress builds up to the point of overload. Students often report that they are stressed for a variety of reasons – performance anxiety, feelings of personal vulnerability and life changing events, to name a few. But, not all stress is harmful. In fact, the human response to stress can spur a student toward optimal performance. See the recent NY Times article for insights regarding how to help teens embrace stress as way to grow beyond limits.
