IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT SCHOLARSHIPS
It is the time of year where decisions for financial assistance scholarships are determined. Should you like to be considered for a scholarship please make sure to enroll or reenroll in the FACTS tuition management system. It is a requirement of the Diocese of Venice that all families attending schools set up a FACTS account. The information provided will be used to determine funds available for financial assistance. Even if you believe you don’t qualify for grant & aid, I encourage you to do so through the FACTS tuition management system. To be considered for a scholarship please set up or reenroll for a FACTS account AND apply for grant & aid as soon as possible. Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the school.

3/27/18 – Ways to help others….Lenten Rice Bowl Collection due!
At the beginning of Lent each family should have received a Lenten Rice Bowl to help practice the virtue of almsgiving during the season of Lent. Hard to believe but we are almost finished with the season of Lent.
Rice Bowls is an opportunity for your child and family to bless others, who are less fortunate as we are, with any financial assistance. Any money that is collected please count up and write out one single check to St. Elizabeth Seton School. St. Elizabeth Seton School will add up all the checks and write out one check to Catholic Relief Services. No cash or coins should be turned into your child’s teacher. The due date for any donations for the Rice Bowl program is Tuesday, March 27. Please have your child submit your check to the homeroom teacher. Thank you blessing others with the gift of God’s love!

There is still time to earn your Seton volunteer hours. Information was sent home with every family last week. We ask that our families donate 20 hours throughout the school year. Those hours can be earned by a combination of helping at events and purchasing items for events (i.e. water bottles etc.). There are more volunteer opportunities available before the end of the school year including: items needed for the Father & Daughter Dance, event helpers for the Father & Daughter Dance, assistance with the SES Uniform Closet, Lunch Duty assistance, and attending the monthly HASA Meetings. Please email Nichole Eastman (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have any questions.
