Hello Seton Families,

Happy New Year! I’m writing to you to provide an update on our wonderful school since Hurricane Irma. To recap, every classroom in the elementary building, including the library, art room, cafeteria, and the music portable suffered significant damage. After what seems like many meetings, many discussions, more meetings, and more discussions we are ready to begin the necessary repairs/improvements.

By the end of January our parking lot will be filled with modular classrooms. There will be classrooms for PK3 – 5. Our PK3 – 1st grade classes will have their own bathrooms while grades 2-5 will have access to modular girl/boy bathrooms for their use. Plumbing and electrical will be installed around February 10th at which time movers will be ready to move our classroom contents into the modular rooms. Work will begin as soon as we vacate the building.

As always, the safety and security of the children are our priority. We are working on a new traffic flow and procedures for drop off and pick up. These procedures will be communicated closer to our new modular classrooms becoming operational. We are also working on a morning routine which we plan to include our Seton morning prayers. We thank you for your continued patience and support as we look forward to all the exciting new changes we’ll see on the Seton campus. Should you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to ask.

With Blessings,

Maria Niebuhr
Principal
