Year End Financial Account Clean Up
Parents, please review your FACTS account and make payment now for any outstanding fees. Many families have unpaid aftercare fees. Report cards/student records may not be released if there are outstanding fees. Refer to page 24 in the Student Handbook for guidelines.

FACTS Tuition Payment Plans for 2019-2020
Now is a good time to review your payment plan in FACTS and make changes. Tuition agreements will be entered into FACTS based on the start date that corresponds with the payment plan choice currently in FACTS. There are payment plans that begin as early as June. If you have any questions, please contact the school accountant, Elaine Pearce, at pearce@seseton.org or by calling the school office.

Registration Fees
Registration fees for 2019-2020 school year must be paid in full before June 30, 2019. You may pay by check at the school office or through your FACTS Prepay – “Registration Fee 2019-2020” account.

2019-2020 Tuition Assistance/Scholarship Awards
The steps necessary for students to be considered for assistance from their home parish and any scholarships:

  1. Student must be registered for the school year.
  2. FACTS Grant and Aid application must be completed and in “verified” status.

If you are wishing tuition support from your home parish, please meet with your priest or parish representative to discuss tuition assistance. When scholarships become available, school administration reviews the scholarship criteria and uses the FACTS Grant and Aid application results to identify families that meet the criteria. Scholarship applications will only be given to those identified families.

New Scholarship Opportunity

The Florida Legislature has approved a new scholarship program – The Family Empowerment Scholarship (FES). It will be funded directly from the state and Step Up for Students will be working with the Department of Education to administer it. The plan is to identify new students for the fall who will be eligible, and it is hopeful that the two programs will work almost as one. The FES will accept any new kindergartner and only students in higher grades who were in a Florida public school the prior year. The qualifying income level will be higher in the FES, serving students in households with incomes up to $77,250 (household of 4). Applying for the FES is the same procedure as applying for SUFS online at: https://www.stepupforstudents.org/for-parents/income-based/how-the-scholarship-works/. Students who are determined to be eligible for FES will be forwarded to DOE for scholarship payments. If you have completed a SUFS application already, you do not need to apply again for the FES. Only one application is needed to be considered for either scholarships.

  • The open gym schedule for the summer will be updated and will be subject to change as the schedule of the volunteer coaches changes.

Please see the letter from our girls’ volleyball coach below:

Dear Seton 4th-8th Grade Girl Families:

My name is Tami Camina and I will once again be the volunteer volleyball coach in the fall for St. Elizabeth Seton’s Girls JV and Varsity Volleyball. I would like to have some informal open gym sessions over summer. These will just be an hour or two of practicing and learning our skills. These are not practices and are not required for playing on the team this fall, but will be an opportunity to get together and have some fun. I will need your email and/or phone number to get you the dates and times. If you could please send me your name, daughter’s name and grade, and an email or phone number, that would be great. I’m looking forward to a great season this fall.

Go Panthers!!
